Position Purpose:
This role will report directly to the Lead HRBP FreshPoint and will partner closely with members of Sysco Corporate HR, FreshPoint HR, and other cross functional leaders within FreshPoint. This role will manage a wide variety of projects and be responsible for managing projects through full life cycle (initial scoping to completion). This role will engage and collaborate with OpCo leaders, Sysco and FreshPoint Corporate leaders and play a vital role on project teams. This role will serve as the HR Manager supporting FreshPoint corporate associates that are located in multiple locations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manages business operations by establishing and monitoring timelines and resources for projects; tracking projects and initiatives; reporting project status to leadership; completing audits and reporting results; following up on deliverables; developing and updating project scorecards; monitoring human resource processes and identifying improvement opportunities; filtering, addressing, and escalating associate concerns; providing guidance to other HR team members; and serving as technical coordinator. Will partner with OpCo HR and Corporate HR on Sysco Speaks administration and follow up, Talent Review assessments, LF360 coordination, PAR tools
- Manages human resource data analysis and management by collaborating with internal, cross-functional partners to identify, collect, and analyze data; interpreting and summarizing data for reports and presentations; making data-driven recommendations; administrating and utilizing SharePoint and other collaborative tools; creating and maintaining reports, reporting tools, and templates; and maintaining information security and confidentiality. This includes weekly employee roster reports for FreshPoint Corporate HR, monthly reporting of Retention and Headcount information by location; quarterly anniversary data reporting for external vendor for recognition awards, and many other adhoc reporting requests.
- Lead HR work efforts for technology changes and ongoing accuracy. Ensures consistent usage of the company's human resource systems by conducting audits, analyzing and interpreting reports; creating action plans to resolve instances of non-compliance.
- Serve as the HR Manager to FreshPoint corporate associates. This will include on-going communication of various HR initiatives, projects, general communication of activities impacting this group of associates. Will conduct observations and investigations as needed; and providing human resources advice and consulting for managers. Will coach on implementing action plans to improve performance and reduce instances of non-compliance; and directing the management teams in ensuring confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Psychology or closely related field strongly desired. If no degree, a minimum of 5 years HR experience is required.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience required.
Technical Skills and Abilities:
- Understanding of and experience with most core aspects of HR with an interest and focus on HR project management and analytics
- Excellent Microsoft office skills, specifically in excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience / familiarity with project management methodologies, tools and techniques
- Strong relationship building skills
- Ability to lead and manage projects; strong emphasis on time management
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; good at working with technology and with leaders in the organization to progress company initiatives
