SUMMARY
Oversees the implementation and accuracy of customer pricing and customer Master Files. This position conducts research and performs pricing analysis while still driving process improvements.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Required: High School Diploma or GED and of 2-3 years of applicable experience working in Finance, Accounting, or related field OR Associates Degree from an accredited institution plus a minimum of one year of applicable experience working in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Computer literate (Word/Excel), working knowledge of SAP, high attention to detail and the ability to problem solve, multitask, and work independently. Excellent communication skills.
Preferred: Associate’s Degree, experience working in a foodservice and/or distribution office environment and/or intermediate to advanced SAP experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Manage pricing conditions such as mark ups, order size discounts, and minimum order charges.
Communicate pricing structure and provide guidance to sales department.
Identify pricing errors or potential problems and recommend corrective action.
Process changes to customer Master Data such as cost basis, price overrides, back-order flags, and commission rules.
Establish New Sales Rep Data ID numbers as needed and coordinate with Human Resources and Information Technology to correct discrepancies.
Process customer hierarchy changes.
Perform audits on customer pricing to ensure accuracy of data.
Process chargeback pricing.
Establish sales representative master data and processes manual commission adjustments.
Enter promotional costs and sale prices .
Keep Manager informed of issues within assigned area of responsibility.
Escalate issues beyond scope of authority to appropriate parties.
Perform other duties as assigned.
