Job Profile Summary The Market Director, Operations Shrink is responsible for providing overall leadership and oversight for operations shrink across the sites within their assigned market. This position supports the design, development, and implementation of risk-based shrink procedures for the distribution segment. In this role, he/she will oversee and manage the implementation of expectations, policies, procedures, programs and training components of the shrink management program. This position will develop, coach, train and evaluate the performance of shrink within the assigned market. This position is also responsible to support, establish, track and communicate the key performance indicators (KPIs) to seek continuous improvement in KPIs. This role will identify the sites that are behind plan and provide support to improve performance. This will take place through on-site visits to conduct a needs assessment. Based on assessment results, there will be a requirement to create an action plan to drive operational shrink improvement. As a result of these responsibilities, extensive travel to sites within the assigned market will be required. The Market Director, Operations Shrink will be responsible for leading the market results through collaboration across sites hosting regular meetings and sharing of best practices. In addition, this role will be responsible for regular communication and partnership with the finance operations and SBS teams to ensure alignment

There are two openings; North Market and South Market. Must reside within market of coverage area.

Job Summary

Duties and Responsibilities:
Support development, management and implementation of standardized policies, reporting, training, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Programs to ensure compliance and management of shrink assets
Support the determination of specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Collaborate with operations and finance to support the execution of results against plan
Create best practices, collaboration and communication across the assigned market
Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or Accounting required or 8-10 years equivalent level leadership experience.
Education Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience Required:
At least 5 years combination experience in Inventory Management, Finance, Operations Leadership with analyst and/numerical experience required.
Experience Preferred:
Prior managerial level experience preferred.
5+ year’s cross functional business partnering at Senior leadership levels.
5+ years’ experience development and management of standardized inventory policies, practices and procedures.
Licenses/Certification Required:
Valid Driver’s License

Experience with field execution through finance and/or operations
Demonstrates influencing skills with the ability to easily connect in a credible manner with others at various levels in the organization
Understands strategy, processes, capabilities, enabling technologies, and measurements/metrics
Must have exemplary listening skills to facilitate effective two- way communication
Must have an analytical mindset; comfortable processing data and drawing actionable conclusions

Site visits may involve lifting, walking, standing for extended periods of time a day and varying temperatures. Other days sitting long hours at a desk using a computer. Travelling from location to location, when needed.
Work Environment:
This position is designated as remote work with a requirement to live within 50 miles of an international airport for travel purposes.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without future employment sponsorship.
In addition to office work, working in warehouses will be required when needed. This may include hot and cold temperatures due to warehouse environment, including refrigerator and freezer spaces. In addition, will require working varying shift times to partner with the operations business.
