JOB SUMMARY
The Director of Sales Enablement will join a team that will be responsible for helping Sysco transform how we enable one of the largest sales organizations in North America through implementing industry-leading sales processes, systems, and innovative enablement solutions. Specifically, this role will be responsible for setting the strategic direction for how we will deliver new capabilities that enhance the frontline execution of sales. This role relies on a person’s proven track record of creating and leading key business initiatives and programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Focus on developing programs, sales processes, and tools that increase efficiencies, accelerate sales growth, and support transformation objectives.
Identify and translate best practices across industries to develop innovative solutions that deliver business and operational efficiencies
Partner with governance functions to ensure effective and efficient pacing and sequencing of sales initiative deployment
Establish and drive the fulfillment of a roadmap to deliver new capabilities to the organization aligned with senior sales leadership vision
Create a framework to measure success, including the development of KPIs, both leading and lagging, to articulate business case and ROI (return on investment) and demonstrate program execution effectiveness
Ensure appropriate, effective change management is embedded into our enablement and communication strategies.
Maintain strong relationships with Field Sales leaders fostering open dialogue to effectively identify opportunities to support and enhance sales effectiveness.
Contribute to designing high quality, field ready programs, and tools that can be quickly scaled in a distribution organization
Initiate, develop, and manage strong cross-functional partnerships, including senior sales leadership, technology, marketing, analytics, customer experience, deployment, and training teams to develop and execute solutions
Enables sales, sales leadership and sales support roles to perform at their highest levels, utilizing Salesforce platform to develop exceptional user experiences working with technology business partners
Education
Bachelor's degree in business or technology concentrations required
Experience
7-10 years of progressive experience in project management, sales operations, or other results-driven roles (e.g., leading cross-functional initiatives, driving measurable business outcomes), or 3+ years working in a management consulting organization, with demonstrated work experience in sales functions
3+ years of leadership experience in an industry-leading organization
2+ years of experience working implementing technologies, Salesforce platform or other CRM technologies
2+ years of experience training or adult learning & development
Experience in applying change management and adoption methods
Expert in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
Distribution industry experience preferred

Work Environment
- This position will work remote
- Must be able to travel to Sysco facilities or operating companies; up to 25% travel may be required in this role
