Summary:
The Global HRIS analyst is a subject matter expert consulting with HR stakeholders on all Workday modules currently in scope at Sysco (HCM, Performance, Talent Management, Learning, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Time Tracking, & Payroll) As an HRIS analyst, you will be an integral part of our HR Service Delivery team, working with Sr Analysts, Team Leaders and managers to uphold governance processes, identify and document requirements, architect solutions, communicate with stakeholders, participate in system testing and drive completion of initiatives, making sure overall usability of the system and its downstream dependencies are reliable.

Duties & Responsibilities
System Configuration and Maintenance: Configure and maintain Workday modules including HCM, ATS, Payroll, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, and Time and Attendance. Ensure system settings and configurations are optimized for performance and functionality.
System Upgrades and Enhancements: Plan, test, and implement system upgrades and new functionalities. Coordinate with IT and Workday support to address any technical issues or enhancements
Documentation: Develops and maintains system documentation, processes and procedures
Workflow Automation: Design and implement automated workflows and business processes within Workday to streamline HR operations and improve efficiency
Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues within the Workday system. Provide second-level support for complex problems that cannot be resolved by first-level support.
Create and maintain an executable backlog of product requirements
Execute business process testing alongside leading business partners/COEs through User Acceptance testing of new or delivered functionality
Actively participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning meetings, sprint reviews and retrospectives to drive team alignment on product vision and value delivery
Assist with issue resolution
Maintain knowledge on new functionality/features/capabilities of Workday, market trends, and other industry products and technologies
Partner with HRIS and HR Shared Services for impacts to system configuration, service center impacts and overall colleague experience
Develop test scripts and execute E2E testing for assigned projects.
Serve as a subject matter expert on Workday based upon functional areas or HRIS projects assigned providing continuous input on process improvement and elevated support
Triage questions, issues and requests and respond in a timely manner
Work on ad-hoc projects related to business processes, data, security, loading EIBs or new modules
ABILITIES AND SKILLS:

Have an in-depth understanding of business processes related to specific areas of Workday, including understanding of end-to-end Workday integration points
Proven track record of Workday requirements gathering and configuration management

Effective interpersonal, teamwork and collaboration skills
Strong analytical and business problem solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to demonstrate executive presence
Strong ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and proactively drive changes that create process efficiencies or improve user experience.
Proven time management and prioritization skills to make efficient, logical decisions in a rapidly changing environment with competing priorities.
Proven experience establishing strong working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, utilizing clear and effective communication and documentation skills
REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
2+ years of relative Workday business process configuration experience
Self-motivated, organized and capable of proactively identifying, sourcing, and handling multiple projects to successful completion
Strong computer skills: proficient with MS Outlook, Office, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
Experience working in a global company, preferred
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION:
Associate’s degree in related discipline or an additional 2 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
