Job Profile Summary Responsible for the storage and movement of materials and finished goods including: • Shipping & Receiving • Warehousing •Order Filling, Picking, and Packing • Inventory Control & Records Management • Dispatch • Developing transport schedules, methods, and routes • Analyzing and projecting transportation costs •Coordinating customs clearances and permits • Maintaining, loading, packing and driving vehicles • Evaluating, selecting, and managing ongoing relationships with external transport providers (e.g., fuel suppliers, trucking/shipping companies, etc.) • Acquiring and managing fleet vehicles
Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for product delivery to customers
- Process paperwork and returned product upon completion of the route
- May load product onto truck
- It provides good customer service.
- Collects payments as needed.
- Picks up inbound product as needed.
- Pre-trip/Post-trip paperwork, fueling, and logs.
- Communicates issues to customers and management as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience
- 6 months minimum, 1 year preferred driving experience
- Route delivery vs OTR preferred
- High School diploma or GED
- Class C drivers license (minimum)
- driving record that meets company insurability standards.
Skills
- Class C License
- Attention to detail
- Good customer service
- Safety-conscious
- Good communications skills
- Ability to lift 75lbs.
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to use a hand truck and pallet jacks
