Job Profile Summary The Executive Protection & Corporate Security Director is responsible for the executive protection of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and executive leadership team members and for corporate office security. He/She plans and coordinates executive meetings and events, assesses potential threats that may disrupt events and executives, and ensures meetings and events are secure and incident free. He/She protects executive assets from harm and frees him/her from concern about safety and disruptions to allow for complete concentration on business matters. This position requires international and domestic travel and a flexible schedule. The Executive Protection Security Director accompanies the CEO when traveling to ensure the CEO's security. He/She collaborates with event and meeting hosts and local law enforcement to develop effective security plans and coordinate additional protective resources. This position arrives ahead of board meeting attendees and remains throughout to secure meetings. The Executive Protection Security Director attends events that will be attended by executive management and provides 24-hour coverage to secure events and attendees. He/She analyzes executives' potential exposure to various threats to determine security requirements and to ensure a safe and threat-free environment. In addition, the Executive Protection Security Director serves as a liaison with relevant federal agencies to protect Sysco assets. He/She provides tactical and strategic internal and external relationships and liaises with multiple groups (e.g. Information technology, Legal, Government Agencies etc.) to coordinate security solutions and to protect the organization from risk and undesirable exposure. The Executive Protection & Corporate Security Director is also familiar with the Sysco Business Continuity Management process and can assist in areas such as Workplace Violence, Insider Threat, Active Shooter, Emergency Response, and Safety standards.

Primary Responsibilities:
Implements corporate security preventative measures to ensure the safety of employees, consultants, vendors, and visitors for the Sysco Corporation Global Support Center.
Oversees identified corporate investigations to determine the facts and to ensure corrective actions are taken
Maintains contacts with various law enforcement agencies and professional organizations to remain current on activities in the community and the world posing potential threats
Represents Corporate Security Services in the Sysco Insider Threat Response Team on crisis management and workplace violence to resolve issues and develop protocols
Participates in the Planning of Board of Director and Shareowner meeting from a logistics and executive security to ensure meetings run smoothly and safely
Conducts meetings with senior members in relevant governmental agencies to ensure objectives are accomplished and issues are addressed. Networks with focal points within governmental agencies to develop relationships.
Manage and direct Corporate Security employees, oversee vendor contracts, and manage associated vendors to provide security to all employees and assets.
Ongoing vendor management and evaluating new industry physical security technologies being brought to market.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree- Preferred in Criminal Justice or Criminology
Experience Required:
10 plus years of Experience interacting law enforcement agencies
Experience Preferred:
- 10 plus years of Experience interacting with domestic and international law enforcement agencies – Preferred
- Experience leading others in case management – Preferred
- Experience leading others in investigations – Preferred
- Experience working with government agencies – Preferred
Licenses/Certifications Required:
A valid LEOSA-Law Enforcement Officers Safety permit, State of Texas Concealed Carry Weapons permit, Exposed Firearm Permit, Guard Card, and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Automated External Defibrillator (AED)/First Aid certification
Licenses/Certifications Preferred:
CFE-Certified Fraud Examiner
CFI-Certified Forensic Interviewer
CBCP-Certified Business Continuity Professional
