SUMMARY
The IMCO Inventory & Sample Assistant’s main responsibility will be maintaining IMCO’s daily sample requests from the Don Sales Force. Additionally, this position will assist IMCO’s Supply Chain Management (SCM) group, on an as-needed basis. This role is a part-time role working M/W/F, 8 hours each day.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Required: A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required, along with one year of relevant work experience in purchasing, distribution, or supply chain operations. Must have strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, multi-task, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office products (specifically Excel and Word).
Preferred: Import Experience (i.e. working with Offshore Suppliers) is preferred. Previous SAP experience a plus.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Fulfills all daily IMCO sample requests from Sales which will include: 1.) Pulling Sample Requests electronically, 2.) Requesting orders to be “dropped” at the DC and/or pulling from IMCO sample area, and 3.) Packing all products, printing UPS labels.
Assist the IMCO team with updating PO delivery dates in SAP along with any supporting documentation tied to IMCO POs.
Maintains all IMCO PO files and ensures all documents are in order.
Keeps IMCO team members informed of all issues within assigned area of responsibility.
Performs other duties as assigned.
