Job Profile Summary Responsible for the storage and movement of materials and finished goods including: • Shipping & Receiving • Warehousing • Order Filling, Picking, and Packing • Inventory Control & Records Management • Dispatch • Developing transport schedules, methods, and routes • Analyzing and projecting transportation costs • Coordinating customs clearances and permits • Maintaining, loading, packing and driving vehicles • Evaluating, selecting, and managing ongoing relationships with external transport providers (e.g., fuel suppliers, trucking/shipping companies, etc.) • Acquiring and managing fleet vehicles

JOB SUMMARY
The Loaders' primary function is to move and from material to production operations safely and securely. The Loader may additionally ensure that outgoing delivery trucks are loaded accurately. Performs all duties according to proper safety procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects
  • Moves material to and from production operations safely and securely
  • Ensure outgoing delivery trucks are loaded accurately to include verifying pallet information
  • Slot inventory incorrectly in a safe and efficient manner
  • Perform cooler sweeps to keep selection areas free of trash and empty pallets

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Decision-Making Authority

Most important decisions made fully independently:

  • Identifying/executing appropriate route load sequence
  • Most important decisions made with review and approval of other individuals or supervisors (include the reviews/approvals required)
  • Coordination of route loading/ dispatch sequence
