Job Summary
The Operations & Process Support Specialist supports two major transition projects within the FreshPoint Business Unit, focusing on intercompany claims processing and pricing automation. This role ensures seamless integration between FreshPoint and Sysco by bridging business operations and technical processes. The specialist will manage cross-functional stakeholders, drive process improvements, and sustain operational readiness post-transition.
Duties and Responsibilities
Primary Responsibility
- Manages intercompany claims processes, acting as liaison between business stakeholders and centralized claims team.
- Supports pricing automation by translating business needs into technical requirements and resolving data mismatches.
- Generates and distribute reports on claims, KPIs, and open balances. Maintain SOPs and dashboards.
- Acts as primary contact for operational escalations and coordinate resolution across departments.
- Leads process improvement initiatives and support change management efforts.
- Facilitates stakeholder meetings and ensure alignment on decisions and feedback.
- Supports onboarding of new sites into centralized claims process.
- Maintains cadence calendars and track adoption metrics post-transition.
- Acts as the owner for all reporting needs in relation to the projects
Qualifications
Education Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
Experience Required
- 3+ years in operations, supply chain, or business process management, preferably in food distribution or retail.
Experience Preferred
Experience in project transitions or post-go-live support.
Technical Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
- Experience with SmartSheet, PowerBI, AS400, ProducePro
- Familiarity with Alteryx or willingness to learn
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Analytical and detail-oriented mindset
