Job Profile Summary Responsible for activities associated with a product or product line at all stages of its lifecycle, including: • Gathering user requirements and designing product or developing enhancements, including technical design services, when appropriate • Product packaging, sample and prototype development • Researching and developing strategies to maximize product/brand appeal to target customers • Monitoring product performance and directing product and/or marketing adjustments • Channel marketing activities, including trade, channel, and category management • Digital/internet marketing activities, including e-commerce, search engine optimization (SEO), social media marketing, web content curation/marketing, etc. • Direct marketing activities, via telephone, email, digital and/or mobile communications • Technical marketing activities, including those required for medical and high tech products
Description
This position can be based out of our offices in Jacksonville, FL or Houston, TX.
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the day-to-day management of resources, process development, and operations across the following Product (Item) Asset Classes: Images, Features & Benefits Statements, Attributes/Taxonomy. Other digital assets and rich content types in scope (future state). Consults with and carries out strategic direction set by MDM (master data management) Business Lead of Item.
Additionally leads and manages projects related to acquisition and management of Rich Digital Content (e.g. Images, Features & Benefits Statements), Product Category-specific Attributes and Taxonomy management to ensure business functional needs are met from Merchandising, Marketing, Sales, and eCommerce/CDE (customer digital experience) through engagement with internal and external stakeholders as needed. Implement risk mitigation decisions and resolves issues escalated from the asset management teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide guidance and oversight to Image Stewards, Features & Benefits and Attribute /Taxonomy Asset Managers to ensure they achieve prioritized strategic objectives.
- Ensures business goals are met and budget and risks are managed appropriately.
- Meet with business leaders to determine Image, Features & Benefits, and Attribution/Taxonomy needs based on business priorities.
- Lead the overall training, communication, and governance process including the creation, maintenance, and implementation of standards, guidelines, and training for Images, Feature & Benefits Statements., Attribute/Taxonomy processes and systems.
- Target audience includes Marketing, Merchandising, Graphic Artists and Suppliers.
- Align and engage MDM Item Business Lead and Business Technology (BT) teams to manage the design and functionality of Image, Features & Benefits, and Taxonomy systems (AMS, OTMM, F&B Portal, etc.). Seek out ways to continuously improve the management process across all content types.
- Oversee maintenance and upgrade with BT to impacted systems
- Execute the communication strategy with Suppliers to meet content acquisition needs and provide direction to Asset Managers.
- Manage the escalation process of non-compliant Suppliers to Merchandising.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Minimum Required: High School graduate.
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited and recognized four-year college or university.
Experience
- Five or more years; experience leading teams in Foodservice Manufacturing, Foodservice Distribution, Consumer Product Goods (CPG) Marketing, Wholesale or Retail Distribution, Category Management, Supply Chain Management and/or Digital Asset Management with a specific lens on working in an Omni-channel environment

- Deep experience with one or more platforms in the Digital Asset Management space (Open Text Media Manager, Informatica Media Manager, Adobe, or others)
- Conceptual understanding of information flows between Master Data Management, Digital Asset Management, e-Commerce, and back-end systems
