Summary:
The Senior Manager, Organizational Development fills a vital position as coach, mentor and strategic business partner and works closely with the VP and Senior Directors in Global Talent Development as well as with HR Partners, HR Leadership and other organizational stakeholders to support strategic priorities. Working across the entire organization, guides transformational processes to support organizational, team, and individual performance & team development. Leverages an agile, growth mindset to improve organizational processes, increase connections, and support a strong organizational culture. Serves as an internal consultant who understands and analyzes the needs of the business to design and deliver practical value-added business solutions. Effectively partners with the business leaders and HR points of contacts to lead and facilitate enterprise and organizational initiatives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategic Organizational Design (Consultation, Design, Implementation Planning, and Adoption Support)
  • Strategic Team Dynamics interventions, to accelerate team performance in critical areas of the business
  • In partnership with Culture & Engagement, drive culture-defining and building work across the organization to support the continued evolution of work
  • Apply OD methodologies and performance diagnostics, including facilitation of team retreats, leadership summits, and other interventions.
  • Leadership Coaching and Inquiry, including support with Assessments (Hogan, DiSC, etc.)
  • Project and Program Management
  • Partners with other COEs (i.e. Talent; Change; Inclusion; etc.) to align practices and recommendations.
  • Best Practice Research and Advocacy

ABILITIES AND SKILLS:

  • Organization and execution - focused with a passion for organizational development.
  • Customer focused in managing relationships with stakeholders across the business at senior levels.
  • Independently drives and executes work across multiple Organizational Design & Development domains.
  • User experience focused in designing and/or curating a range of development solutions.
  • Creative & resourceful – able to develop bespoke interventions leveraging best practices to drive organizational design and team dynamics.
  • Inclusive and globally minded – understand cultural nuances in leadership approaches.
  • Analytical and reflective – seeks feedback and data in support of continuous improvement, leveraging data to inform, design, and evaluate interventions.
  • Resilient – enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, who lives values of integrity, inclusion,
  • teamwork, excellence, and sustainable growth.
  • Strong Collaborator with the ability to form strong partnership with Talent Partners, Learning and Development and HR Business Partners.
  • Fluency with HR data, including common metrics (i.e. Retention) and sources (i.e. Workday; Engagement surveys).
  • Fluency with change management, engagement, team dynamics, organizational design, and leader/team assessment frameworks and tools.
  • Familiar with key OD methodologies, performance diagnostics, and other tools.
  • Strong facilitation skills and leadership presence.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

7-10 Years in HR or related experience and education, with experience working in organizational development, culture and engagement, and/or talent management within a large, complex organization preferred.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION:

Bachelors Degree, Masters Degree in Organizational Development, I/O Psychology, Strategic HR, or related field preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • This position is remote.
  • Travel may be required up to 25% to Sysco facilities or operating companies.
