JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Finance, to play a key leadership role in driving financial performance and growth across the USFS organization. This role will be responsible for modeling and forecasting volume performance, establishing measurement to track growth related initiatives, and partnering cross functionally with other colleagues to deliver actionable insights to senior leaders. The ideal candidate is curious about data, combines analytical excellence with solid business partnership skills, and enjoys leading teams and developing talent.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead detailed analysis of volume trends, customer segment and market performance, and identify enterprise opportunities for improving results.
Support forecasting and budgeting cycles, ensuring accurate and timely inputs related to volume, rate, margin, and expense.
Deliver weekly analysis along with monthly and quarterly reporting packages focused on root cause analysis, trend identification, and recommendations for action.
Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, and KPI trackers to enhance visibility into volume drivers.
Assess and provide recommendations onsales initiatives,impacts of macroeconomic trends, and pricing investments to enhance financial performance.
Develop close collaboration with field leaders within sales and finance to facilitate better communication on key initiatives as well as local drivers of business outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field (MBA preferred).
7+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably supporting sales, revenue management or strategic initiatives.
Proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders and driving financial performance improvements.
Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic corporate environment, preferably in a Fortune 500 or high-growth company.
Strong technical skills: knowledge of financial reporting software including BPC preferred.
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Financial Expertise: Deep understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting methodologies, with a strong grasp of financial statement analysis.
Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights and recommendations.
ROI Analysis: Experience in measuring and evaluating return on investment for marketing campaigns, sales initiatives, and corporate expenditures.
Systems & Tools:Proficiency in financial systems (SAP, BPC, Oracle, Hyperion, or similar), as well as advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
Business Acumen: Strong understanding of sales operations, marketing expense management, corporate expense management, and financial decision-making.
Communication & Influence: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial insights effectively to senior leadership.
Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying issues, developing solutions, and driving continuous improvement in financial processes.
Team Leadership & Collaboration: Experience managing and developing finance teams, as well as working cross-functionally with various business units.
